- What a journey this has been. As a child I loved fashion and always wanted to dress different then others or have a handbag the wasn't like the rest. I have always been full of energy sometimes more then I know what to do with. I lived in the Bay Area for 32years before moving here to Sacramento last year. It has been exciting to come to this community and be welcomed in. I have spent 15 years in the retail industry before deciding last year to follow my dream of owning my own boutique. I finally put all the years of notebook ideas and plans to use. Flying back from Manhattan this January I was pondering life and all it encompasses. The name LA NOUVELLE was born. La Nouvelle is french for the new way. This seems very fitting with all the changes in life. A journey we call it. Learn to enjoy the journey... the destination will come. I want to bring a new way for women to feel comfortable maybe caring a daring bag, something they never thought they could pull off. Having alittle fun and not taking the seriousness of life all the way to your wardrobe. Come in and play!!!!
